North Beach Community Improvement Association Completes SWOT

The North Beach Community Improvment Assocation recently completed a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) process facilitated by Michael Tracy of the Grays Harbor Economic Development Council. The group spent three saturdays discussing the unique assets of the North Beach region, opportunities to improve community vitality, and an action plan.
Key outcomes of the process included:
- Seek infrastructure improvements to support new development
- Develop a community-based strategy to assist property owners with clean-up and beautification
- Work with the scenic byway planning process to develop gateways signs and a brochure for SR 109 communities.
